ShinkansenPull-off arms
Pull-off arm for Shinkansen heavy compound catenary equipment
Pull-off arms of this type are used for heavy compound catenary equipment for the Shinkansen. They are classified into several models: Model HC-1 (photograph), which is used for hinged cantilevers that provide support from poles in open sections; Model HC-2, which is used in places such as tunnels and station buildings.

Pull-off arm for Shinkansen CS simple catenary equipment
Pull-off arms of this model are used for CS simple catenary equipment. They are classified into several models: Model CS-1 (photograph), which is used for hinged cantilevers that provide support from poles in open sections; Model CS-2, which is used in places such as tunnels and station buildings.

Model BL pull-off arm for narrow-gauge lines (L = 900 bow type for general purposes)
Pull-off arms of this model are the most commonly used pull-off arms for narrow-gauge lines. Their pipes are designed into a bow shape to prevent them from adversely affecting pantographs when pantograph inclination, train rolling, or some other phenomenon occurs due to cant in curves.

Model BL pull-off arm for narrow-gauge lines (L = 900 bow type for insulation)
Pull-off arms of this model are used to ensure the insulation of the rear end lines of DC overhead contact lines (1500 VDC) in places such as station buildings and the overbridges of narrow-gauge lines.

Model BL pull-off arm for narrow-gauge lines (L = 900 bow type for cyclic current prevention)
The cyclic current that occurs in hinged cantilevers due to the potential difference between contact wires and messenger wires may fuse bolts supporting the rear ends of pull-off arms. Pull-off arms of this model prevent the flow of cyclic current with the aid of an insulating material. Compare with pull-off arms for insulation, it is designed to be low in dielectric strength.
